The Brooklyn is the first in a series of cocktails that Brian Mitchell demonstrated for me over at Trumbull Kitchen – thanks Brian! This cocktail really worked for me, as it is a slightly sweeter, more Spring facing version of the Manhattan – and as a novice whiskey drinker I appreciate the extra flavor in my glass.
Speaking of Whiskey – Trumbull Kitchen will be hosting Jefferson’s Bourbon Beef & Cigar Dinner on May 6 at 6 pm. The menu includes pairings such as Brown Sugar Crusted Hangar Steak with a Fat Tuesday Sazerac – yum! RSVP by calling 860 493 7412
